Amy Flemming is visiting Heartland for a whole 3 weeks of Christmas vacation. Her niece, Holly, has grown very much and Jack is getting older. However, Heartland is still the same special place that Amy grew up with. The only thing that seems out of place is her relationship with Ty, which has become strained and uncomfortable after their breakup. Over the course of the book, Amy learns that she can't expect everything to stay the same for her. She has to accept certain things that are different between her and Ty. The real challenge for Amy comes near the end of the book when Amy and Ty have to work together to help a pregnant mare. Some real surprises crop up in this book! I recommend all Heartland fans to read it ASAP because it contains a lot of laugh-out-loud moments, suspense, and basically things that no one could ever suspect. This is a memorable book -- I hope that it won't be the last of the Heartland series. I'm thrilled that Lauren hasn't given it up quite yet! Enjoy the read.
