Mercury is a new horse who won't jump at all. Amy takes him to a horse-healer who knew her mother. Over the course of that week, Amy joins-up with Mercury and at the end helps him to jump again. Amy talks to Huten, the horse-healer, and they start talking about Marion. Huten tells Amy that there is no death--only a change of worlds!
This is another sad but great book--Lauren is a brilliant writer.
