I liked Heartland book #4. It's when Amy and Ty take on more serious horse treatments since Marion's death. Amy does a great job with Flint, Claire's witty horse that takes advantage of Claire's inexperience, and Amy also helps Claire to become more confident in the one-month time-span that Claire's mother sets. Ben comes from Fairfield to be the new stablehand. He has problems settling in and is training his horse, Red, too excesively. Ty gets really mad at that and Amy does too, until she finds out a secret about Ben's past that lets her give him a little more slack. It's amazing how Claire goes from one day a highly weak rider to a confident, cool, and collected better version. Ben finally gets the message that as long as he's on Heartland premises, he has to do things their way and pick up his workload more. I personally liked this book, but you'll just have to read it for yourself to find out.
