This was a really sad book. But I admire how Amy and Marion were willing to take risks to rescue a horse. Amy and Lou make a great team, Amy is amazing with horses and Lou is very sensible and practical, all her improvement ideas are for the better. She just wants to keep Heartland up and running. The way all the Flemings picked up the pieces and continued Heartland after Marion's death was wonderful.
