Heartland: Coming Home is the best. I have actually read the whole series but this is my fav. It's about a 15 year-old named Amy and her mom who own a horse farm. But it is not that simple. "Heartland is like no other place, it is where frightened and abused horses can learn to trust again" but when Amy's mom dies she takes on the responsability for the "healing side" of Heartland along with Ty, their stable hand. It is the best book series ever and teaches you a lot about life and horses. And you can tell by the first book that bad things do happen so it is not one of those books that have a problem but then friendship conquers and it ends with the sun shining and everyone acting like nothing happened. But it isn't going to be bad things happening every second. Anyway, it is such a great book that words I use really can't describe it; really what I am trying to say is PICK UP THE BOOK!!!!!!! (P.S. You really have to read the series in order for it to make sense.)
