When I read number 17 I cried. The way that Lauren Brooke describes the horses when the come out of the trailer makes you want to slap their previous owner on the head and scream, "What were you thinking!" When I rescued my clydesdale colt from an auction my first thought was, wow this is like book 17! He was loaded from an old livestock trailer (his old owner delivered him for me although I wish he hadn't. He scares me!) As soon as I finished that book I ran to the nearest book store to check if the other one was out yet! I was really upset when they had to put the palimino down, but happy when the others came out ok.
