Wow. When I read book number 16 (Holding Fast), I was so sad that Ben was leaving. He sounded like such a nice guy. But I guess his heart DOESN'T belong at Heartland with Amy and Ty. I hope he comes back to visit soon. I haven't read all the books, so I'm crossing my fingers! From the way Red is described, it makes him look like a fine horse that I'd hate to see go. I love books where they're so real that it seems like you're in the story watching from the sidelines, but if you get too drawn into them, when something bad happens, you're sad! Thet's how I felt about Ben leaving. I liked how Joni became the new stablehand and her mom who performed acupuncture on Venture. Joni sounds cool. I can't wait to read number 17 to see what happens next!
