I read this book and the end is sad but I think that Amy made the right choice because she knew it wasn't good for Storm to have to avoid the activities he enjoyed the most. Near the end, I got an idea of what she was going to do, and, out loud, I actually said "don't give him up Amy!" It turned out to be the best book I ever read because I finally realized that it hurts your horse more than you when you neglect it. Thank you Mrs. Brooke for helping me understand that.
