I just got a copy Take the Reins. It was good--I finished it in a couple of hours. Kinda like The Saddle Club but modern. And not so cheesy.  I was happy to read something with CORRECT horse facts, LOL. Any1 else read it? |

*without giving much away* a girl named Sasha Silver if in 6th or 7th grade. she had like no real friends, and transferred to a new school becasue she'd apparently learned all she could about riding from her old one. but she gets into this rivalry with the three queen bees reigned by the ultra-queen. ect ect. there's a guy, too, though that part was a little lame (In my opinion). she has a horse and its about riding. its kinda like a younger version of CH

I got the book. The funny thing is that the day after I got the book my aunt came and she gave me the exact same book so I have to take it back! But I've read it! It did remind me a bit of the CH but it had it's own twist and turns that where different!  |

I see it all the time at the bookstore(its right near CH and HL) but i never decided to buy it. If i like YA romance and horseback riding, would it be good for me? I just wanna know incase i buy it. Any help?  |

I've read it. i think i like chestnut hill a little bit more, tho. it seems more realistic, but theyre still good books
