Unless the episodes were uploaded to youtube by CBC, or the person uploading them had authorization from CBC (which I really doubt); then the videos are illegal. (Definitely uploaded illegally, and probably illegal to watch, also)

about me: i want to open a horse rescue like heartland my favorite horse: chick!!!! he's about 15.6 hh and thour/quarter horse mix he use to race but they said he was to slow so this one woman rescued him and in no way is unspoiled his real name is way to long to remember so he goes by chick  |

No, what Jon means is if the videoswere uploaded on Youtube or other viodeo ites without permission, or done by CBC, they are not legal.
Some people may have videoed it to put on Youtube or whatever illiegally/ because they did not realise it wasn't allowed-Youtube has to delete videos like this all the time, but they are still everywhere.
Its nothing to do with CBC and filming the programmes.

I realize that the show is different than the books, but I love it anyways. I will say I think I like the books better, but I still think it's cool that someone is at least trying to make a go with a TV show based off the books.

Its diferent of course, but it was to be. You can't directly translate a book series to a tv show and expect it to get the amount of viewers nesecary to continue for more than one season. And besides, if it were EXACTLY the same, what would be the fun in watching something we have already read.

that is a good point,, i get this magazine of horse dvdsand books every two months and this months it had about the heartland series on tv and they sed hopefuly they would be put out on dvd ,if they are i will deffinetly buy them lol |
