about me: i want to open a horse rescue like heartland my favorite horse: chick!!!! he's about 15.6 hh and thour/quarter horse mix he use to race but they said he was to slow so this one woman rescued him and in no way is unspoiled his real name is way to long to remember so he goes by chick  |

Yeah. My hope for the series (if it continues), going from how its been in BtH and AWG, is that Amy and Ty both date other people for a while, that both of them have a serious relationship with someone else. Then when Amy is in her second to last year they're both single and they get really close again as friends before they realise that they're more than that and that they're meant for each other, and they date through her last year of college before she moves back home for good.
Darn that sounded really soppy and romantic and stuff didn't it? Sigh, its not meant to. I do think its more realistic for them to date other people for a while, even seriously, but I do think that they've been through too much together, and know each other too well for them to find long-term happiness with other people. And because of the way things have been in BtH and AWG I thnk they need to become really close friends again first, like they were before they dated.
Thats the only way I can see things going if Lauren Brooke is going to get them back together in the future, but who knows what will happen?! The characters have already been changed so much in BtH and AWG that I guess just about anythign could happen!
From what i have read of her french books i think this might actually happen! (they have 30 books and in the next one amy starts to have feelings for ty again. |

Yeah I hope so. Most of all I want Amy and Ty to be more like they were in Always There, they were bith very mature and grounded people for their age and had been through so much and knew what mattered and what didn't but then changed so much in Beyond the Horizon, which is set just months later. Thats what bothers me so much more than the break up itself.

I think that they will most definatly get back together in the end. They have to. She just wanted to add some drama and tension to the plot.

someone above said that there are 30 heartland books in french and that amy has some feeling for ty? is that right?
but why are they not in english too?
does this mean that there will be more books in english to come as soon as they translate it?
for those who have read the french ones what happens between them and can we get the french versions in canada?

There are more books in French than English, and I believe she said in an interview that it was down to publishing contracts, her French ones requested more.
I don't know French, but I've used online translation sites to translate the blurbs from the French books, and a couple of them vaugely fit the new special editions, so it's possible they'll end up in English at some point, but who knows.
As far as I know, the French ones aren't available in Canada, without being ordered online.
Also, the French ones have different character names too, so they wouldn't be quite the same anyway.

i live in canada too! lol they're not where i live, but they might be around in québec. next time i go i'll check - wonderful idea. and the names shouldnt be hard to figure out - the main character is amy, the one she broke up with is ty, the sister is lou, ect. good idea, btw. i never thought to continue them in french  if i end up reading them i'll let you guys know |
