Chasing Dreams - Reviewed by anna_luvs_horses

I love this book! When Patience decides to sell Minnie, Honey gets really upset, and I think anyone can understand why. Patience is now really into golf, and at CH they start optional golf lessons with a really cute instructor, who Patience has a crush on. At the homecoming dance she asks him to dance with her, but the golf instructor (Daniel) says no. Then outside Honey overhears Daniel telling Patience that he's leaving because he's getting engaged. The next morning Patience claims that Daniel's leaving because he has feelings for her, and only Patience and Honey know the truth. When Honey tells Patience that she's going to tell everyone the truth, Patience blackmails her by saying that if Honey doesn't say anything then she won't sell Minnie. In the end Patience keeps promising her the same thing when a police car comes to CH and Honey and Patience go to Dr. Starling, that if Honey tells Dr. Starling that she overheard Daniel telling Patience he has feelings for her then Minnie will stay. Then they find out that the police are only there to talk about security, so they don't go to see the headmistress but Honey gives Patience one day to set the record straight or she'll tell everyone. Patience tells Honey that Minnie was sold the day before, so her promises wouldn't come true anyway. When Honey goes to have one last ride on Minnie she finds out that it was Dylan's dad who bought Minnie instead of Starlight Express as Dylan wanted to keep on working with Morello. It must have been so nice of Dylan, and a really nice surprise for Honey!
