The Scheme Team was good, but I think it was a letdown, especially sandwiched between the series' best two books. What Dylan did was cool -- standing up for herself and what she wanted against a snooty older girl -- and a very "Dylan" thing to do. This is probably the best Chestnut Hill book for your non-equine-crazed friends. Unfortunately not enough horses for me, the champion horse lover and admirer. But nice story line anyways!
