Chestnut Hill #4 was, as always, really suberb. I guess that I say that about all the Chestnut Hill books, but it's true! Lani has to convince her parents to let her stay at Chestnut Hill after her grades slip. They want her to go to a school in California. It wouldn't be THAT bad; Cali rocks! But she and I wanted to stay at Chestnut Hill instead. Duh!!! Any school with horses is a school I want to go to! Lani has to prove to her parents that that is where she belongs. I thought that it was good that Lani was showing dedication to her schoolwork. Although, she might be overdoing it. She stays up so late studying, and cramming that she is so tired and distracted that she breaks her wrist falling off of Colorado in a jumping lesson. But I respect Lani for pushing herself to excel; just don't overdo it!
