Honey was so good with Moonlight Minuet. It is great how she could care for her properly without being sure of a ride in Minnie, and knowing she is owned by her friend's (and roommate's) enemy, especially while her beloved twin brother Sam is fighting of leukemia in the hospital. With Lani's help she sneaks off to visit him in the hospital, likely a first for Honey, who has a tendency to be quiet, shy, and relatively unnoticed except by her friends. It's more like something spunky Dylan or fun-loving Lani would do, and they're nothing like Honey. How she could stand the thought and keep it away from roommate and close friends is really worth noting. Managing to be asked out and admired by Josh is cool, especially how they barely spent time together. This was a very good book.
