Personally, I found this an amazing book. Malory was right to seek Amy Fleming's advice, as Amy had the decision of pursuing competitive show-jumping or working at Heartland, and staying to work at Heartland or leave home to attend vet school at Virginia Tech. The described events, like shows, the picnic with the Harpers, the Adams dorm party, formal, shopping, and riding seem really fun. Although Tybalt was partly what Lynsey and Caleb said, he was also what Malory thought he would be. Their opinions on competition all make sense. It's sad that Caleb and Malory break up, but I understand it. But if I had Mal's choice, I would ride with the Cavendish Foundation!
