I LOVED the first Chestnut Hill book. It shows the story of how Dylan Walsh works her way to Chestnut Hill academy and struggles to keep up with the fashion faupas and social stuff like being cool, keeping up grades, making it on the riding team and dealing with the ever-popular and catty Lynsey Harrison and her sidekick Patience Duvall. Dylan makes friends with Honey the most, gets into a fight with Malory, but they end up being friends, and makes worst enemies with Lynsey and Patience. She works her heart out to be on the riding team but ends up becoming their reserve rider. (good enough!) She convinces Malory to stay instead of going home because she feels like she does not fit in with the other girls because they have a lot of money and good style but Malory doesn't have a lot of money since her dad works at a shoe store and she came to C.H. on a scholarship. I could so totally relate to it. I am in love with Chestnut Hill, and am in the middle of reading the sixth book. Yeah. It's awesome so far!
